Saturday we had the honour of spending the day with Ryan, Dawn and their amazing family and friends!
Dawn looked so amazing – her sister was crying the whole day! LOL! A good cry though. I remember when my little sister got married and man did I ever bawl that day…
We started the day at Canad Inn Polo Park, headed off the the Disciples United Church on Broadway, family photos at The Ledge and then off for some fun in the exchange district. It was so hot! Yes – I said it… I was hot here in Freezingpeg. LOVED IT!
What I did not take note of and trust me it made me add an item on my check list during a shoot – was that Dawn did not take in too much liquid. Having to wait for more than an hour for her limo to show up did not help matters and by the time we got back to the reception Dawn had picked up sun stroke… YIKES!
She was brave though and made it down to join all their friends and family for the celebration.
It was an emotional day… Ryan and Dawn are two very beautiful individuals and powerful as a couple. Ryan’s dad passed away the week before and I had a tough time photographing his dance with his mom. I had to quietly move to the back of the room to try and grab a couple of photos as my eyes were filling with tears.
Memories of one’s dad will always stay with you…
Thank you for having us be a part of your day guys. Esther and I had a great time walking around with you, getting to know you a little better. You had a beautiful wedding.
I hope you enjoy your teazer and look forward to your comments.
