Highlights from Rob & Karel’s wedding last Saturday.
We started the day out in Steinbach for the getting ready chapter and had the first meet at Rob’s parent’s place. I wanted to do it outside on two rocking chairs, but it started pouring a couple of minutes before Karel was scheduled to arrive… Typical : )
I had to think quick and asked what their shed looked like. Rob’s mom and dad thought I was crazy to even think about this as it was dirty, with cobwebs and straw everywhere out back in the “horse barn”… My eyes lit up : ) I had a quick look and knew it would be perfect!!
It was raining on and off after that so we had fun in their old greenhouse before heading out the Evergreen Village.
It was still raining and we had to do the rest of the photos indoors. The old house made for a beautiful dramatic backdrop. I still wanted more and opened the closed door to the basement. It was old, dirty and to honest a little scary… Loved the photos we got there and had fun with all the “props”…
The reception “tent” looked like something from a beautiful Hollywood wedding. Amazing decorating!
All and all a beautiful day with amazing people! We had fun, everyone was happy and Rob cried the whole day! LOL!
Congratulations you guys! We had a great time with you and wish you only the best life has to offer on your journey ahead.

Usually it’s the bride and groom that goes into the surprise funky first dance, but this time it was Rob and his mom giving everyone a show. From a slow dance to a waltz a bit of swing and back – WOW! It was amazing. Well played you guys.
